Myths of Selves, Bodies and Images
Selves, Bodies and Images are presented as main figures in the narration of social phenomenon that unfold our bond to garments, identity and social organization. Garments are cultural extensions of bodies. The meanings they relay and social functions they convey alter between phases of firm correlation and drastic dislocation. As a mythology, the polyptych recounts the foundations and failures of different attempts to dismantle the relation between body image and social position.
